State Agency Enforcement against cities

October 26, 2012

Wow, this one was interesting. A state agency whose job it is to credential professional engineers brought suit against a city for a design flaw that it was discovered had been created by someone not credentialed. The agency filed suit against the city for having accepted the plans, even though they were not created by a licensed designer.

I was fairly stunned by this. It seems that there is just no limit to the grasping of power of some of these groups. The write-up on this starts on page 100. It’s only one and a half pages, but it’s a very interesting read.

It appears that there are fewer and fewer defenders of freedom out there. The assaults are never ending and with smaller and smaller justification.
