… and now, some good news…

3D Printed Ruger Pistol Demonstrated by BuckOfama.

The pistol version of the popular Ruger 10/22 rifle, the Ruger Charger comes standard with 10-round flush magazines and can accept high-capacity mags holding 30 rounds or more. As demonstrated, making one with a cheap small-format 3D printer and some parts purchased on the internet (with no paperwork) is trivially easy.

I’m laughing as I type this because I just found a clip from Star Wars where Princess Leia says “The more you tighten your grip, the more star systems will slip through your fingers.”

As technology has advanced the equipment for resistance just gets better and better.  The good news is that these tools for resistance get better and better with less and less effort on the part of those people who are going to be willing to invest the time to do so.

One of the things I’ve tried to instill in my kids is that EVERYTHING is a weapon.  The world is just not safe.  Sugar? I can put it in a fuel tank and render a vehicle inoperable.  When the government has lost the complicity of the people, it is doomed to fail.  I can’t help but wonder what America would be like if we were as free as those freedom fighters in the 1770s were having thrown off the shackles of the Brits.

!!!Hoorah for freedom!!!  I hope I live long enough to see it for my kids.
